 The Bookkeeping Co Australia was started in January 2022 with a vision to create a business that provided old fashioned bookkeeping services to clients, while keeping it affordable with our market leading bookkeeping & payroll service rates in a time where costs are rising for everyone. We offer onsite, offsite or remote working packages and provide our services in a timely and cost efficient manner.

Knowing your numbers and the financial position of your business is imperative to your trading conditions now and in the future. We work together with our clients to become a part of their business so that we can fully understand their trading landscape, as well as their challenges so together we can work toward their ultimate success.

As a Registered BAS Agent, we are qualified to provide statutory compliance services which are highly regarded by our clients, including BAS, IAS, Superannuation Processing & Payroll Tax Returns to name a few.

Our staff are experienced and proficient in all accounting packages, as well as a Xero Silver Partner & MYOB Certified Advisors. We liaise with our clients’ accountants and provide a set of end of year workpapers for our bookkeeping clients, which promotes ease of processing at year end for your accountant. This in turn could cut the time they spend on your tax returns which may result in lowering your accounting costs.

As a Registered BAS Agent, Steve has extensive experience in the finance side of the businesses within many industries including Hospitality, Real Estate & Recruitment, as well as the Building & Construction industry, where he served as the Group Financial Controller with award winning builder Domination Homes for five years from 2013.

Between 2001 & 2007, he was part owner in his own family businesses within the Roller Shutter industry, and most recently before starting The Bookkeeping Co Australia, Steve worked for three years as a Client Manager in Payroll & Bookkeeping for a Top 50 Accounting & Bookkeeping Firm in Perth from 2018.

Steve has a passion for team & business development as his career has been focused on serving as a financial specialist & strategist, whilst helping business managers make strategic decisions that will grow their business for years to come.

Steve is a fanatic about making new relationships and collaborating with others. He is married with four children
and when he is not working from his office at home, you will find him at one of Perth’s amazing golf courses trying to lower his handicap.
